Pat Robertson about Hugo Chavez - Take him out!

Amazing!  The Reverend Pat Robertson promotes the assassination of foreign leaders.  This week his call was for the life of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.  As far back as 1999, Mr. Robertson urged that assassinations be part of U.S. foreign policy.  In his sights then were Kim Jong Il, Saddam Hussein, Slobodan Milosevic, and Osama bin Laden.

Digging a Sea-Level Canal (arrogance prevails at Panama)

It was decided.  A sea-level canal would be built at Panama. 

 

Having accomplished at Suez what many said was impossible, Ferdinand de Lesseps, the French entrepreneur extraordinaire, would now attempt an even more improbable task – the construction of a canal in Central America.

 

We must not tarry long, as Ferdinand de Lesseps did during his Panama Canal debacle.  As is witnessed in de Lesseps, great men can make great mistakes.
